💡 Tip — Day 215

A buyer circles the total on your proposal and asks, “Can you take 10% off?” The discount may be workable, but giving it alone turns a concession into a gift. Make it a trade: “If we can approve [their request], would you commit to [something valuable in return]?” The return might be a longer term, upfront payment, or reduced scope. Pairing each give with a get protects value and tests how important their request really is. 🎯 Try this today: For one open negotiation, fill in both blanks and paste the sentence into your deal notes.
