Tip — Day 258

A customer introduces you to a CFO. Two weeks later, you’ve held discovery, but the customer still doesn’t know whether you connected. Close the loop with an outcome, not just a thank-you: “Thanks for introducing me to [name]. We met and [brief, nonconfidential outcome]. I appreciate you making that conversation possible.” An introduction puts someone’s credibility behind you. A short update shows you treated it with care, even if there’s no deal. 🎯 Try this today: Pick one introduction that led to a meeting and fill in this update as an email draft.
